This time Team Darlings — Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and director Jasmeet K Reen — were the guests. Alia walked into the venue that was packed with an audience of close to 500 and admitted that she had expected just around 15 fans. "I think I am a little caught off guard," she told Anupama Chopra. Here are our three favourite moments from FC Front Row's Meet The Darlings. | | Why are you congratulating Alia? No, seriously! | | Alia recently married Ranbir Kapoor and announced her pregnancy soon after. She is also making her Hollywood debut alongside Gal Gadot and has produced her first film, Darlings (2022). And of course, Brahmastra (2022) is finally just around the corner.
"I am extremely grateful. The year started off on a great note, because on the 1st of January my husband proposed to me. When the year began with that kind of day, I knew this year was going to be something," said Alia. | | Alia's First Hollywood Action Film While Being Pregnant | | Alia talked about the fact that she was shooting for her first Hollywood action film whilst pregnant. Initially she felt way out of her comfort zone and was missing her home and poha. But the actor remarked that the crew made it very comfortable for her.
"Gal Gadot has done one of her biggest action films, Wonder Woman, whilst being pregnant. I called her and told her. She said, 'Lovely, mazel tov. Such a good omen. I got you, baby. I am going to take care of you." And she genuinely kept checking if I was okay, if I was hydrated, if I was eating enough," Alia revealed. | | When Alia sang Happy Birthday for an audience member who turned out to be a cast member! | | As usual, the FC Front Row session concluded with a round of Q&A with the audience. Alia picked an attendee selected from a bowl that had chits with audience members' names on them. The selected person was Divya and as it turned out, not only was it Divya's birthday, but she was also a cast member on Darlings.
Vijay, Alia, Shefali and Jasmeet immediately recognised her and Alia even sang for her.
