'Gremlins' prequel reclaims Gizmo's Chinese origins

For the showrunner of "Secrets of the Mogwai," the "Gremlins" mystery that consumed him most was around the elderly shopkeeper Mr. Wing from the 1984 film and his history with Gizmo.
