Jio has become one of the most discussed topics in India after its launch in September last year. And most of the publicity it has gained is because of the non believable services Jio has given to its users. Free 4G internet coupled with Unlimited free calling and Sms throught the country, all this for not a single penny. Now that is something!
This treat doesn't seem to stop as Jio is surprising its customer every now and then with their amzing offers. So let us see what good news Jio now has for the people. After our previous article we have added one more important point.
1. Jio unlimited offer is to be extended upto June 2017
Jio is planning to extend the free unlimited data, calling and sms ahead 3 months till June 2017. But due to TRAI regulations no telecom operator can offer more than 90 days of free offer. So to concure that Jio is expected to charge a nominal amount of ₹10 per month from April to June 2017.
2. Increased 4G data speed
Jio couldn't recieve the kind of start Reliance was hoping till end of 2016. The speeds which were easily getting upto 15-20 mbps started to drop as more and more users started jioning the jio network. And the time came in november-december when using data on Jio network was a nightmare. Many users were complaining about very low data speeds. But now Jio is all set to handle the dta usage and increase the per user speed. Speeds are expected to increase by 40% from next month.
3. Lesser call not connecting problems and call drops
Jio is constantly working on this issue since its launch. And soon jio will have no call drop or unable to connect issue as Jio is planning to establish hundreds of new tower and improve the network.
4. Cheaper rates
Jio is working on a completely new call and 4g data pricing. It is said that the new pricing plan will be much cheaper than the one Mukesh Ambani launched in the event. The rates are expected to be halved.
5. Affordable 4G enabled voLTE phones by Jio
Jio telecom has announced two voLte 4G phones which will support Jio sim and the best part is both the phones will be priced in between rs1000 and rs1500. Yes! 4G phone for as rs1000. Specs are not yet sure but we will keep you updated once they are out. Jio is all set to take over the telecom industry all at once.
