Do you live in a wildfire hazard zone? Here's what that means

This year, Cal Fire increased its Fire Hazard Severity Zones by nearly 6 million acres — representing about 6% of the state. The update added 2.8 million more Californians into the "moderate," "high" and "very high" hazard zones, throwing them into the often head-spinning world of hazard zone fire safety regulations.
