Running Marathons in Jeans Is the Bad Idea That WE LOVE!

OK so this is one of those founder messages. Text only aka READ ME!

Our content is is usually 2 things:

a) stuff you should do, like bend to fix a sink without your crack showing

b) stuff you should not do, like a split

To break brains and the internet ...we're combining a SHOULD DO (run a marathon) and SHOULDN'T DO (run a marathon in jeans)

We spotted the awesome, inspiring and lil bit intense but 100% goal crushing, world record holding Truett Hanes (follow him!!) on IG running in "other jeans."  So we reached out and said ohhhh you run in jeans huh ...

Let's make a deal: "Run the NYC Marathon in The Perfect Jean"

Truett said:

"The only way I'd consider running in jeans is if they were perfect...and The Perfect Jean is PERFECT. They were the only company willing to help me to raise money to find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. With my inclination to running and push myself, I decided to run the NYC marathon in jeans to raise as much awareness as I could for MS. TPJ wanted to amplify my message so here we are! I couldn't have done it without their perfect jeans and their perfect leadership. We're asking you to have a helping hand in our mission!"

We said: WE ARE IN.

Here's the deal:

Our Fundraising Goal: Raise $26,200 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society ($1k/mi for 26.2 miles).  NO OBLIGATION but we'd love if you'd contribute!

Truett's Goal: Complete the NYC Marathon in under 3 hours (that's insane btw, 6:50 minute per mile, faster than NYC traffic tbh)

TPJ's Commitment: We're donating $10,000 to Truett's cause.  No strings, no matching per jean sold...we're inspired and we are just IN.

(P.S. - Truett has done over 8,000 pullups in a day so running in damned durable/super stretchy jeans...not a thing lol)

Thanks for being awesome shenanigan loving customers.

Founders Out.

Ovi and Zack

P.S. - If you made it this far...and reply with something really funny, awesome and inspiring there's a good chance the CS team will probably send you a small thank you discount.
