| |  | | | A former police officer has called on the California attorney general, the U.S. Department of Justice, and other agencies to investigate his former boss, Orange County Dist. Atty. Todd Spitzer.
Damon Tucker, a former fraud investigator for the county, alleges that Spitzer and other officials quashed an investigation into possible corruption and then fired the investigator in retaliation, according to a lawsuit.
Spitzer, who denies the allegation, has publicly called Tucker a "dirty cop," and accused him of working to hurt him politically. Tucker's behavior, Spitzer says, is a "disgrace to the badge." | | Read more | | | |
