As you would expect from hardcore FromSoftware fans, people are theorizing all sorts of explanations - some of them mundane, and others, far more unusual.
As well as being the series' creator, Cain was a designer on Fallout 1 and 2, but he hasn't been involved with the later installments of the RPG series.
"Seeing that he's not a very good gamer, no offense, and he did it, that really motivated me and made me want to do it," says DeadlyPG. "I guess I just told myself that I can do it."
