Now he's suing some of the schools for anti-Asian discrimination By the end of his senior year in Palo Alto in 2023, Stanley Zhong received rejection letters from 16 of the 18 colleges where he applied, including five University of California campuses, despite having a 4.42 grade point average and a nearly perfect SAT score. Less than a year later, as a college freshman in Texas, Zhong was hired by Google for a software engineering position that typically requires an advanced degree. Now, he and his father are suing several of the colleges that rejected him. Read more

Russell Brand charged with multiple counts of rape and assault in the U.K. British comedian-turned-podcaster Russell Brand has been charged with single counts of rape, indecent assault, oral rape and two counts of sexual assault by the Metropolitan Police in the U.K. The charges are connected to alleged attacks on multiple women between 1999 and 2005. He's scheduled to face charges before the Westminster Magistrates' Court on May 2. Read more
